About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Anthony, and I’m in my last year studying Computer Science here at UVic. I was born and raised in Victoria, and while I’ve spent most of my life here, I had the chance to live in Vancouver this summer for an internship. It was a nice change of pace and gave me the chance to experience a different city while also learning a lot through work.

When I’m not busy with classes, I like to stay active and spend time on a variety of hobbies. In the warmer months, I usually play tennis, and although I don’t play basketball as much anymore, I still enjoy it from time to time. My main focus these days is weightlifting, which I find both rewarding and motivating since it helps me clear my head while working toward personal goals. I’ve also been playing chess since my dad introduced me to the game when I was younger, and it’s something I still enjoy whenever I get the chance. On a lighter note, I also like driving, which I see as a relaxing way to unwind.

I try to keep a good balance between academics, fitness, and personal interests, and I’m excited to bring that same mindset into this course. I’m looking forward to learning new ideas, experimenting with creative tools, and connecting with everyone throughout the term.
